Trick or treating to run from 3:00 - 7:00 pm on Saturday, October 31st 

Tricks to stay safe when trick-or-treating

  • Trick or treaters should practice frequent hand hygiene and carry portable hand sanitizer
  • Maintain 6 ft between individuals not from the same household or extended household
  • Consider incorporating non-medical masks into your costume
  • Wait until groups ahead are gone or take turns when approaching houses
  • Consider cleaning wrappers with disinfectant or holding treats for 72 hours before consuming

Treats from 6 Feet

  • Participants should consider using tools(e.g. tongs) to distribute candy from a distance.
  • If you’re expecting a high volume of trick-or-treaters place tape markers on driveways to promote physical distancing
  • Only wrapped store bought treats should be distributed
  • Consider wearing a non-medical mask if physical distancing cannot be maintained
  • Where possible, only one household member should hand out candy
  • Practice frequent hand hygiene
