Bylaws

Bylaw 2001-19

A Bylaw to Provide for Penalties for Contravention of Bylaws in the Town of Rosthern, in the Province of Saskatchewan.

The Council of the Town of Rosthern in the Province of Saskatchewan hereby enacts as follows:

1. This bylaw may be referred to as the “General Penalty Bylaw” of the municipality.

    1. Sections 3 and 4 apply only to an infraction of a bylaw of the municipality for which no other fine is provided.

    2. Subject to the provisions of section 2, any individual found guilty of an infraction of a bylaw of the municipality, passed by authority of the Urban Municipality Act, 1984, shall be liable to a fine of not more than $2,000.00 and costs for every offense.

    3. Subject to the provisions of section 2, any corporation found guilty of an infraction of a bylaw of the municipality, passed by authority of the Urban Municipality Act, 1984, shall be liable to a fine of not more that $5,000.00 and cost for every offense.

    4. Bylaw No. P-4-80 and P-5-80 are hereby repealed.
