Compost Pickup

Compost
Picked up every Monday from May 1 to 1st week of November except STAT holidays

When a statutory holiday falls on a Monday, compost will be picked up on the same day as Garbage pickup.

Compost consists of garden waste, grass clippings, leaves, weeds, fruit, vegetables, coffee grounds/filters, tea bags, eggshells.

Important note: Please do not place meat, dairy products or bones in your compost bag!

Compost must be put into reusable containers.

Every Thursday front street

Green Box Recycle
Picked Up every 1st , 3rd & 5th Thursday

Blue Box Recycle
Picked Up every 2nd & 4th Thursday

May 1 to October 31

Monday & Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Thursday 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

November 1 to April 30

Monday & Saturday 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Landfill Fees

$25/load or $12/half load $1/bag

Concrete
$40/construction load or 3-ton truck or $15/half-ton truckload.

Shingles, siding, renovation, demolition or construction material will require that each individual contractor get their own bin at their cost.

Other Items

Tires & automotive batteries can be taken to Rosthern Tire (minimal recycle fees may apply).

Used oil/oil containers/filters - can be brought to Rosthern Tire.

Computers, paint and paint cans - can be brought to SARCAN.
