Front street pickup only.

  • East of 4th Avenue on Tuesdays
  • West of 4th Avenue on Wednesdays
  • East of Railway Avenue on Wednesdays

Compost Pickup

Compost
Picked up every Monday from May 1 to 1st week of November except STAT holidays

When a statutory holiday falls on a Monday, compost will be picked up on Tuesday.

Compost consists of garden waste, grass clippings, leaves, weeds, fruit, vegetables, coffee grounds/filters, tea bags, eggshells.

Important note: Please do not place meat, dairy products or bones in your compost bag!

Compost must be put into reusable containers.

Picked Up every 1st, 3rd & 5th Thursday

Blue Box Recycle
Picked Up every 2nd & 4th Thursday

Monday & Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Thursday 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

November 1 to April 30

Monday & Saturday 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 Appliances - $10/each (with freon removed)

 Compost - Free

 Concrete - $100/construction load or 3-ton truck OR $50/half-ton truckload

Shingles, siding, renovation, demolition or construction material will require that each individual contractor get their own bin at their cost.

Miscellaneous Items and Where They Go at the Landfill

Branches - burnable pile
Old propane tanks - metal pile
TVs - SARCAN

Other Items 

Tires & automotive batteries can be taken to Rosthern Tire (minimal recycle fees may apply).

Used oil/oil containers/filters - can be brought to Rosthern Tire.

Computers, paint and paint cans - can be brought to SARCAN.
