The beautiful Town of Rosthern is located in the heart of the valley between the North and South Saskatchewan Rivers, and midway between Saskatoon and Prince Albert at the Junction of Highways #11 and #31
Rosthern's business section has over 100 retail, service and home-based businesses within the community. There is a hospital with six physicians, a chiropractic clinic and community services clinic. There are plenty of seniors' accommodations and services. Emergency services such as ambulance, fire department, rescue squad and RCMP are all located in town.
Education facilities include an elementary school, a high school, and a junior college (private school) and an adult education centre.
The sporting facilities are second to none in Rosthern. The new Valley Aquatic Centre features a junior-size Olympic outdoor pool with a zero-depth entrance and a new change room facility. The Jubilee Sports Centre houses an arena and a curling rink, both with artificial ice. Other sporting venues used by many include the shale ball diamonds and batting cages, soccer fields, tennis courts, bowling alley, football fields, and of course the 18 hole Valley Regional Park Golf Course. The four designated walking trails promote health, fitness, and other activities such as bird watching.

Notice is hereby given that the assessment roll for the Town of Rosthern for the year 2013 has been prepared and is open to inspection in the office of the assessor from 9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the following days: Monday to Friday, March 28 to May 28, 2013.
