The cross country ski trails will no longer be held at Valley Regional Golf Course.
The town is currently exploring options within town limits.

Sledding Hill - Mount Rosthern
A winter favourite for all ages, Mount Rosthern is the perfect place to embrace the season! Whether you’re racing downhill, enjoying the view from the top, or testing out a new toboggan, Mount Rosthern is where winter memories are made. All you need is a sled, some warm gear, and a sense of adventure!
Located off the corner of 9th Street and 5th Avenue.
Valley Regional Park
Located in the Heart of the Valley by Rosthern, Valley Regional Park is a favourite destination for families, golfers, and outdoor explorers alike. Whether you’re stopping in for an afternoon, a weekend getaway, or a full week of relaxation, the park offers something special for every age.
The beautifully landscaped grounds, mature trees, and rolling terrain make it one of the most scenic spots to unwind. Kids can spend hours enjoying the creative playground, complete with a 100′ zip line and 80′ slide, while families make memories in the picnic areas, campground, and nearby attractions that keep visitors coming back year after year.
Golfers will love the 18‑hole, par‑72 Golf Course, known for its affordable green fees, accessible memberships, and excellent pace of play compared to other area courses.
Walking Trails
The Town of Rosthern promotes physical activity and leisure for its residents through its walking trail system!
The Walking Trails incorporates our natural creek system, manicured cemetery, and serves as a great place to walk, jog, or bird watch.
It can make anyone's day a little more enjoyable!
Renovations & Funding
The Rosthern Walking trail has gone through extensive upgrades and renovations. Funding has been received through the Agrium Community Green Spaces Program and the Valley Sports and Hardware. Hope to expand more trails in 2022 and into the future!
